As many of you reading this know, 2017 was Green’s Lawncare’s first year in business and here is our 2017 Recap. Our owner/operator has over 17 years of professional experience in the industry, but 2017 marked the year he went out on his own and it has proven to be a good move and very excited for the future!
This year, 2017, has paid dividends! We exceeded ALL of our goals for our first year in business and have dedicated a lot of money investing in the business to grow and build stronger roots. Over the course of the year we have added to the fleet with the following, but not limited to, 2004 F250 Turbo Diesel truck, 2 new Exmark commercial mowers, 3 new Echo string trimmers, Echo chain saw, Echo hedge trimmers, Echo backpack blowers, new Sure-Trac 14 foot dump trailer, Billy Goat leaf vacuum, and a Ryan aerator. You may have even seen our new leaf removal trailer around town. The signs we had made were 13ft x 5ft, so hopefully it was big enough to see!
Internally, we have added to our marketing in a big way by launching a stellar website, created by The Web Guys, and creating new systems and procedures to better improve our daily work flow. It really does take a lot more than what you see on the surface to operate a business efficiently. Soon we’ll be adding a CRM to manage our day-to-day operations and client experience. This will make scheduling jobs much easier and provide real time updates in the field for changes that often occur.
In October, our team had a great time at the Green Industry Expo and learned/networked with other lawn care professionals for 2 days in Louisville, KY. We possibly made the best connection of all when we met with Project Evergreen and learned about the wonderful work they are doing with military families. We come from military lineage and love giving back to those who serve our great country. Take a look at Project Evergreen’s website and learn more about their cause.
Overall, 2017 has been a big year for everyone involved with Green’s Lawncare & Property Services. We will continue to work on our services and build our clientele in areas such as aeration, mulching, and leaf removal.
Thank you for a great 2017, and we are excited to jump into 2018 running!
